Just wanted to share,
God answered my prayer the next day. Even though my faith was weak His love was perfect, so perfect. Out of the billions of stars and voices in the Univers; He heard my quiet tearful prayer early in the morning last week when i was crouched in the corner of the bed in a dark room as my children quietly slept near me.. as a silent request that only tears spoke.
This is my story / A single widowed unemployed father who had no food to feed his childeren for t…

There is a Christianese term that gets tossed around more than clothes tumbling in the dryer. “You are a child of God.” We have all heard this, but what does this really mean? Let’s unpack that phrase.
God is the best artist in the universe. He creates all kinds of parallels and images to complete the beautiful picture of being His child. To understand these parallels, we must understand the basics of the covenant. The covenant is a pact made between two parties, in which both

We have all heard that, “Jesus died for our sins,” and therefore those sins are forgiven. But, did Jesus die for just most of your sins, all of the sins up until the day you accept him, or ALL of your sins? Most people will answer that yes, Jesus died for all of our sins, which would mean that all the sins are forgiven. Yet, we often see an ingrained routine in Christians where they sin, ask for forgiveness, and repeat, even though they have already accepted Jesus and therefo

The primary purpose of prayer is to worship. Because simply put, worship is about bowing down or submitting to God. And true prayer consists of laying aside our will, from “I want…” to “Your will be done!” Prayer then becomes a declaration of trust as we submit our desires to our Heavenly Father. A deed of high praise to our God. The wonder of worship though, is that it goes 2 ways. Through worship we enter into God’s Presence and we become the Be-Holders of His Grace and Lo…

What does it mean to become Christian? Does it mean that we start becoming a better person and stop doing as many “sinful” acts as we can? To start helping the homeless? To donate more to charities? To stop drinking alcohol, smoking or cussing?
Definitely not! To become Christian has nothing to do with any of that. It is all about an identity change.
As human beings, we are all born with two parts – physically and spiritually. In Genesis

What would Jesus do? The question in itself is not a terrible question to ask. However, the way that this question is typically asked, is a terrible question to ask. For example, if I am driving down the road, and some guy cuts me off, then I am enraged and ready to run him over! But, then I think to myself, “Ohhh… calm down… What would Jesus do?” And then I force myself to calm down. Or maybe a friend offers me a cigarette, and almost about to give into the peer pressure, I remember, “What w

Have you ever felt like you were not holy enough for God? When you look at your own life and see all the acts of sin, do you ever wonder how a God, who is perfectly holy, let someone who behaves so unholy into His presence? The key is, we have been MADE holy.
Hebrews 10:10 says, “And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Did it say, “And by your will, you worked on being holy and became holy

getting cheated on and cheating myself
is worse than any other feeling i’ve felt.
in the quickness of the moment i found myself trapped in hell
the fire breathing down my neck with the stench of the burns rising up
filling up the whole room of regrets
but i never regret...
i had to apologize to myself
for when i cheated myself
i wasn’t being myself
i tried to catch my mind
but my mind was running wild
like them girls on girls gone wild…

i know i appear to have a boring dull old cover
but, don't let pleasure to the eye decide your fate.
because in the future i can hear fate taunting you that you're too late.
don't judge me by my dull old cover
because you may never know what you might discover
i'm easy to read, even between these thin lines.
so stranger why don't you take the time.
but make sure when you open me, that you read the prologue first
before you go on and skip my book.
story of a lifetime if you take the…
